TOS Theatre Opening!
Come take a walk through the past as Pembroke opens up the doors to the TOS Theatre on W. Bacon Street April 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. Currently under restoration, the theatre, opened in 1939, will bring back memories of when Roy Rogers and King Kong ruled the airwaves.
Make it a nostalgic night for the entire family as a variety of food trucks will offer for sale their culinary delights, along with entertainment provided by the Bryan County High School Jazz Band. There will be a bouncy house to entertain the younger ones and it promises to be a fun night for all.
The theater restoration committee will be on hand to answer questions and accept donations along with other financial opportunities to contribute to refurbishing the theater to its former glory.
