This year's Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on
December 3, 2006, at 3:00 P.M. in Downtown Pembroke.

THE PARADE IS COMING TO TOWN!

The Bryan County Extension Office and City of Pembroke have joined efforts once again to host the 23rd Annual Christmas Parade and Festival.

On Saturday, December 9, 2006, art & craft booths, including everything from jewelry, purses, signs, ornaments, clothing, quilts, leather articles and food will line the downtown streets of Pembroke. At 11:00 a.m. the annual parade steps off and will include dignitaries, ROTC units, beauty queens, bands, The Shriners, marching units, antique tractors, motorcycles, classic cars, horses , floats and last but certainly not least, Santa Claus himself.

There will be entertainment throughout the day for your enjoyment, including choral groups, solos, dancing, karate and much, much more! And don't forget about the kids. There will be rides, games, a rock climbing wall, moon walk and slides for their enjoyment.

So make your plans early and come celebrate a full day of good family fun!
